The Government of Tuzla Canton has made a decision on creating more favorable conditions for self-employment and employment of veterans and members of their families in the Tuzla Canton. The manner of providing funds for the purpose of achieving more favorable conditions for self-employment and employment of veterans and members of their families has been determined.

“It is a decision by which the Government of TC created and financed a project in the amount of two million BAM. We have another project, and it is about the children of fallen soldiers and martyrs, and we have 500 thousand BAM in that position and most likely the Federal Employment Agency add another 200 thousand BAM. This is separate and this is for all veteran populations, so we hope that these two million BAM that will be available in the competition procedure will be used. companies that would employ someone from the veteran population are also running, “said Minister of Veterans Affairs in the Tuzla Canton Government Zoran Blagojevic.

A public call for employment and self-employment of fighters and members of their families will be announced next week, and the rough estimate of the relevant ministry is that about 270 people could get employment.

Funds planned in the budget can be approved for self-employment to start a new business and employment to expand an existing or start a new business. While self-employment refers to the employment of an unemployed person who would register funds and start performing activities in his own name and for his own account, it is defined that employment can be performed by natural persons performing registered crafts or related activities, as well as companies registered with the competent authority.
