Vucic paid Money to Srebrenica kurir.rsAt the investment-development conference, the Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić promised to provide assistance to Srebrenica Municipality amounting to ten million BAM, given that four million BAM will be paid immediately. Vučić fulfilled his promise, and two million EUR were paid on the account of the Municipality this morning.

Mayor of the Srebrenica Municipality Ćamil Duraković confirmed that the Government of Serbia this morning paid financial assets which were promised to this municipality during the investment conference in Srebrenica last week.

“The money was paid this morning, in the amount of two million EUR. These funds are great help to us, because we will primarily use them to close the budget deficit created after the allocations for the reconstruction after floods in 2012 and 2014,” Duraković said.

The Mayor added that the rest of the money will be directed to the regular budget program for the next year, but a plan will be made of how those funds will be used.

Besides the already paid funds, Vučić promised additional six million BAM to the Srebrenica Municipality, which will be invested through various joint projects.
