Two New Connections have been established from Tuzla Airport

The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, confirmed on his social networks that new airline routes are being established from Tuzla to Turkey and the Netherlands.

He stated that the Directorate for Civil Aviation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHDCA) issued approval to the airline operator “ToMontenegro” from Montenegro for flights between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands, and between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey. Flights will depart from Tuzla and Maastricht airports for the Netherlands, and from Tuzla and Istanbul for Turkey.

“This decision is the result of Tuzla Airport’s request to the Directorate for Civil Aviation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which requested designation for “ToMontenegro” for flights to certain EU countries,” he wrote.

BHDCA contacted the EU countries to confirm that designation, and so far the Netherlands and Turkey have responded positively, he pointed out.

“Sweden, Denmark, Austria and Germany gave negative answers, while the answer from Luxembourg is still expected.”
