Two police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton (SC MoI) have been arrested this morning and soon a third police officer will also be apprehended, FENA learns from the SC Prosecutor’s Office.
As the prosecution said, the arrested policemen are suspected of corrupt practices while performing their duties.
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, on the order of the SC Prosecutor’s Office, began this morning the implementation of the operation codenamed “Sparta”.
Searches are underway at several locations with the aim of documenting corrupt criminal acts for which police officers are suspected.
