Two Victims of the past War identified in Travnik

The remains of two victims of the past war were identified on Wednesday in the premises of the “In memoriam” Travnik ossuary in Prahulje.

These are victims of Bosniak nationality who disappeared in the area of ​​Grahovci in June 1993. Their remains were exhumed 32 years after their deaths.

Family members today identified Emsad (Omer) Ahmić, born in 1953 in the village of Goduša, Visoko. He disappeared on June 16, 1993 in Grahovci, and his remains were exhumed in this place in May of this year.

Edhem (Halida) Nuhić, born in 1971 in Kiseljak, was also identified today. He disappeared in June 1993 in the area of ​​Grahovci. His remains were also exhumed at the Grahovci site in May 2025.

The victims were first identified using DNA, and today their family members have confirmed the identity obtained through DNA analysis, AA writes.
