Two years have passed since the murders of Sarajevo police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic.

The Police Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Sarajevo Canton announced that 300 witnesses had been examined since the murder of police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic.

“Since the day of the murder of Sarajevo police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic, Ministry of Interior of Canton Sarajevo police officers, in cooperation and under the supervision of the acting prosecutors of the CS Prosecutor’s Office, have been working to clarify this crime on a daily and continuous basis,” is stated in a joint statement from the Police Directorate and the Prosecutor’s Office.

In addition to the CS Ministry of the Interior, which is responsible for investigative activities, through the exchange of operational knowledge, verification, interrogation, analysis and expertise, cooperation was established with the State Investigation and Protection Agency, RS Ministry of Interior, Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime Republika Srpska and the Federal Police Administration, and with the Intelligence and Security Agency in the exchange of data.

“So far, more than a thousand actions of documenting and proving have been undertaken in this case, so about 300 people have been interrogated. DNA, biological, ballistic, mechanoscopic and other expertise, including requests for international legal assistance for obtaining data, have been ordered, as well as hearings and expertise outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, “the statement said.

Due to possible knowledge and information about the crime of murder, 39 people were tested on polygraph and about 100 video surveillance experts were included.

“Several requests were sent to INTERPOL and EUROPOL, followed by cooperation with eight countries, namely the USA, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro. Therefore, the subject of the murder of Sarajevo police officers is a priority,” reads the conclusion of the statement.
