Two Young Polish People Have Chosen Sarajevo As Their Wedding Destination

Gold Wedding RingsAlexander and Anna Smywinski-Pohl, two young people from Poland, will have a church wedding tomorrow in the Sarajevo Cathedral, and the beginning of their life together will start from the capital city of BiH tomorrow.

Alexander (30), in an interview for Fena Agency, said that they chose Sarajevo after they planned a route several years ago through the Balkan countries, but did not go further than BiH.

“When we arrived to BiH, we were enamored with the beauty and the warm and well-intentioned people, and chose not to travel to other Balkan countries. We wanted to get to know BiH better. We were in Mostar, Zenica, Banja Luka, Počitelj, Brčko, and everyone received us with a smile. We were taken delighted’’, said Alexander.

The idea to get married came spontaneously, added Anna (28), after a first-class lunch in one of Sarajevo’s restaurants, where the owner treated them to a brandy.

“This was an idea after the brandy’’, said Alexander and Anna with a smile.

They added that preparations for a wedding began in February this year, when they returned to Sarajevo and went skiing on Bjelašnica.

“I don’t have the words to express how much effort people put in to make the paperwork easier for us. Everyone helped, from the Embassy of Poland to friends from Sarajevo, and we have gained a lot from this. I sincerely thank everyone that put in the effort to prepare everything without problems or stress’’, said Alexander.

The paperwork is ready, and this young couple will get married tomorrow at 1600. Their 25 friends from Poland will be at the wedding tomorrow.

“We wanted our friends from Poland to come here for our wedding, and for them to see what kind of people Bosnians and Herzegovinians are. We want them to see this beautiful country. We cannot imagine a better starting position for our life together’’, concluded the engaged couple.

They revealed that several days after the wedding they will travel to Indonesia on their honeymoon.

We wish to congratulate them and to wish them a happy life, full of love and understanding, beauty and mutual respect.
