The United Kingdom (UK) Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina(BiH), Julian Reilly, stated that the UK fully supports the positions expressed in the statement of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC).

“The UK welcomes the statement of the chair of the PIC Steering Board. It is crucial that everyone in BiH avoids interference and respects the independence of the judiciary. The UK reaffirms its unequivocal commitment to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH,” Ambassador Reilly emphasized.

The PIC Steering Board held a meeting yesterday to analyze political developments related to the legal proceedings against the President of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette of RS, Milos Lukic.

PIC ambassadors supported the recent statement by the OSCE Mission in BiH and reiterated calls to end any pressure, political threats, and interference in the work of judicial institutions in BiH.

They also reaffirmed their clear support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH as a unified state consisting of two entities, the Federation of BiH (FBiH) and RS, as well as the Brcko District.
