UK Ambassador to BiH meets GD of the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH

Great Britain’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Julian Reilly, met today with the General Director of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Osman Mehmedagic.

During his first visit to the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ambassador confirmed Great Britain’s unreserved support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized that the Government of Great Britain is a long-standing friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its citizens.

General Director of OSA BiH Osman Mehmedagic thanked the Government of Great Britain for its continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the security sector.

Considering the current security circumstances in the region and the world, it was pointed out that this cooperation must be intensified through several joint projects in the coming period.

The interlocutors agree that strengthening cyber security is one of the priorities in the direction of protecting democracy and the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mehmedagic wished Rayli a successful mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina and said that Great Britain and its security services in the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will always have a good and reliable partner.
