The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, says that he is only afraid of not taking advantage of the moment, if such a constellation of relations is created in the world, and of not declaring the independence of the RS entity.
Dodik’s story about the independence of the RS is as long as his rule in that entity, which has been since 2006. Since then, Dodik has been pushing the story of independence in waves, and he is intensifying it before the elections.
So he spoke again for UNA TV about this, among other things.
“I only have one fear in politics, and that is that, when the conditions for our independence are created, I might not sleep through that moment, that I might not take advantage of it. That’s why I’m constantly searching, I’m an eternal watchman on this issue, I’m constantly searching for constellation of relations that might coincide in the world, in Europe, in America, at the same moment I will declare independence if that happens,” said Dodik.
He also commented on the high representative Christian Schmidt, whom he never accepted, and said that before coming to office in BiH, Schmidt called him and asked him to accept him. He added that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Analena Baerbock, asked him to do the same when she came to Sarajevo.
Although he almost always points out that he never supports the sports teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country whose presidency he sits on, it is interesting that in the interview Dodik congratulated the players of the basketball team on their victory against France, Klix.ba writes.
