UK Media Recommended BiH As The Most Underrated Destination In Europe

A United Kingdom (UK) portal recommends to Britons a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) this summer as the most underrated destination in Europe, stating that they can escape and enjoy the sun for less than 200 pounds (461 BAM).

While most Britons plan holidays in Spain or Greece, for those with more limited budgets this UK portal recommends BiH.

“There’s another way, where you can still have a wonderful holiday abroad without needing to refinance your home or take on an extra job. And we have social media to thank for this discovery,” they say.

BiH, which they describe as a hidden gem and one of the most underrated countries in Europe – can cost less than 200 pounds (461 BAM), including food, flights, activities, and everything else.

Considering that Ryanair currently offers flights to BiH for less than 20 pounds, they point out that getting to the country will cost Britons less than the fuel needed to drive to the nearest beach in the UK.

“BiH is not only a cheap holiday in Europe, but also has some of the most beautiful landscapes. With incredible lakes, mountains, and waterfalls, there is so much to see, even if you’re on a limited budget,” they continue.

“While visiting this Balkan country, you can stroll through the culturally rich capital city, Sarajevo, or if you prefer to enjoy incredible sights and landscapes, head to Mostar, which is known for its iconic 16th-century Ottoman-style Old Bridge,” they stated.

They also point out that you don’t need to worry about transport because public transportation is cheap and even that won’t “hurt your budget.“
