The solemn welcome of the Armed Forces of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s unit from the “Determined Support” mission from Afghanistan was held on Friday at the “Bozan Simovic” barracks in Capljina.
This unit of the Armed Forces of BiH carried out its mission in accordance with the Decision of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, within the United States Armed Forces, the Coalition Forces in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The attendees were addressed by Commander of the 4th Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Zdravko Rezo, who emphasized the positive evaluations of the Coalition Forces for the accomplished mission of the AF BiH Infantry Unit.
He expressed particular satisfaction with the excellent work of the brigade members in the multinational environment, working with the local population, as well as all the challenges that our unit faced during the mission.
The Commander of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of BiH, Major General Radovan Ilic, in his address, thanked all those who contributed to the successful realization of this mission, and emphasized that this mission also showed the readiness of the members of the Armed Forces of BiH to participate in international missions side by side with multinational forces.
At the end of the ceremony, the most successful members of the unit were given awards.
