The decision of the President of the United States Donald Trump on dismissing ambassadors who were appointed during the mandate of his predecessor, Barack Obama, does not apply to the Ambassador of USA to BiH, Maureen Cormack.
From the US Embassy explained that the decision of Donald Trump refers to the politically appointed ambassadors, not career diplomats, such as Cormack.
Independent announced that shortly after he took oath as the 45th President of the United States, Trump dismissed all ambassadors appointed by the administration of former President Barack Obama without prepared replacements.
