As part of NATO’s Partnership for Peace program, members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States of America will participate in the planned bilateral exchange of military experience from July 7 to 20, 2022, in the area of the Manjaca training ground.

In order to strengthen mutual interoperability, about 90 soldiers from the US Army’s 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, the US Army’s 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, and the Maryland National Guard will work together with reconnaissance platoons from the 4th, 5th, and 6th Brigades of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The exchange of equipment will also include flights to three American UH-60 Black Hawk general purpose helicopters, which will fly to and around the Manjaca training ground and the Mahovljani airport, together with the helicopters of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
