Deborah Mennuti, the deputy head of the mission of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, today saw the coffins with the remains of the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica, which will be buried in Potočari on July 11, in front of the Presidency building.

As stated on the Twitter profile of the US Embassy in Sarajevo, they emphasized that they clearly stand by the families who continue to search for their loved ones.

“Deputy Head of Mission Deborah Mennuti joined the citizens of BiH today in honoring the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica. The United States of America stands with the families who continue to search for their loved ones,” the US Embassy stated.

We remind you that the sad procession with the remains of 30 victims of the genocide in Srebrenica passed through the main street in Sarajevo.

Among the officials who arrived in front of the Presidency were members of the Presidency Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, High Representative Christian Schmidt, FBiH Vice President Igor Stojanović, former Defense Minister of BiH Sifet Podžić and other political officials.
