Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stated that he has a thesis regarding the death of the legendary Argentine soccer player Diego Armando Maradona and that he believes he was murdered.

Maduro, who was a guest on the “Maduro Podcast” program at the Monumental Stadium in the capital Caracas, claimed that everything was planned for “fascism” to come to power in Argentina and said:

“I have a thesis about his death, I believe that Maradona was killed. The day before he died, I spoke to him on the occasion of his 60th birthday and said: ‘Diego, come to Venezuela, we will take care of you here.'”

Stating that Maradona shared with him his concern for life, Maduro added:

“In the previous conversation, I told him: Take care, Diego. Look, there are very bad people, the fascists will not leave you alone because you are the voice of people who rebel against injustice. You said things that no one had the courage to say.”

Recalling the assassination attempt on former Argentine President Cristina Kirchner, Maduro said:

“They organized operations to put an end to the symbols of Argentina. First they finished off Diego, I’m sure of that. Then they wanted to finish off Cristina, they wanted to kill her live.”

Criticizing Argentina’s President Javier Millay, Maduro said:

“I cannot but say one thing: fascism and Zionism came to power in Argentina with Miley. Miley said: ‘I will do everything to ensure that Venezuela is subject to sanctions, surrounded and defeated’.”

President Maduro said that he believes that the truth about Maradona will be revealed one day and that he is sure that fascism in Argentina will be defeated again.

The world-famous legendary football player Maradona died as a result of heart failure and pulmonary edema on November 25, 2020 in Tigre, in the Argentine province of Buenos Aires.
