Verdict for Crimes in Prijedor to be pronounced next Week?

The state court will pronounce verdict to Rade Vlasenko, Drago Koncar and Milan Krupljanin, on Thursday, July 26. They are charged with crimes committed in the area of Prijedor in 1992.

Vlasenko, Koncar and Krupljanin, as former members of the Army of the RS (VRS), are charged for participating in the persecution of civilians in Kozarac and surrounding villages, within the Municipality of Prijedor. They are charged for murders of eight people, including older victims.

Final arguments of defense teams on the trial to former members of the Army of BiH (ABiH), Minet Akeljic, Saban Haskic, Senad Bilal, Hazim Patkovic and Semsudin Djelilovic, who are charged for participating in the crimes committed in the area of Vitez, will take place on Monday, July 23.

The next day, defense lawyers of Drazenko Kvesic, Miroslav Colak and Mirko Galic will give their final words at the trial for organized crime, money laundering and tax evasion. Jerko, Slavo and Jozo Ivankovic Lijanovic, Milorad Bahilj, Jozo Sliskovic, Zeljko Mikulic and Mirjana Sakota, as well as companies “Lijanovici”, “Mi-MO”, “Farmer”, “Farmko” and “Optimum” are also accused with them.

The pronouncement of the verdict to Nedim Kulenovic, who is charged with the corruptive act of receiving a gift or other form of benefits as an employee of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA), is scheduled for Wednesday, July 25.
