In connection with the indictment brought against 13 persons, members of the RBiH Army, who are charged with war crimes against victims of Serbian nationality in the town of Jošanica near Foča in December 1992, from the Association of Genocide Victims and Witnesses and the Association of the Movement of the Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves, the Prosecutor’s Office believes that Bosnia and Herzegovina works according to instructions from Belgrade and falsified documentation that Serbia submitted to the International Court of Justice in 1996, accusing Bosnia and Herzegovina of committing genocide against Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Part of the indictment of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office against the members of the BiH Army contains the incrimination of genocide and reads: “Organizing a group of people and inciting them to commit the criminal acts of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes from Article 176 of the CC of BiH”, the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide announced and the Association of the Movement of the Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves.
The indictment against members of the Army for alleged genocide exists only in the minds of Milošević’s followers, who apparently are now also in the BiH Prosecutor’s Office. Serbia’s political program is realized through the BiH Prosecutor’s Office and the goal is to present that Serbs are the only victims in BiH. Serbia’s counterclaim for genocide failed before the Court of Justice, but it did not fail at the BiH Prosecutor’s Office. This indictment, if confirmed, will represent a civilizational collapse of imagined international justice and the annulment of the legacy of the two UN courts that ruled on the genocide committed by the Serbs, say the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Association of the Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves.
These two associations call on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina “to reject the accusations, false evidence and witnesses that were falsified from Belgrade. In the same way, false accusations for the alleged crime of “Dobrovoljačka Ulica” were falsified from Belgrade, they say.
“We call on the PIC to urgently make binding decisions and stop political indictments, because the work of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office threatens peace in BiH. We call on the PIC to react in the same way as it reacted to BiH’s intention to file a request for review before the International Court of Justice when they came to the conclusion that submitting a review endangers BiH and its most important institutions led by the Presidency of BiH. All member states of the PIC then, except Turkey, had their own judges in the Court of Justice. Such false indictments are a prelude to a possible conflict, all on the basis of false materials delivered from Belgrade,” it is stated in the joint statement of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Association of the Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves.
