Victory of B&H Football Representation Over Ivory Coast

B&H vs Ivory CoastB&H football representation won over Ivory Coast during a friendly match played in St. Louis. The result of the match is 2:1.

Edin Džeko scored both goals in 17th minute and 53rd minute, while the scorer for Ivory Coast was Didier Drogba in 90th minute.

B&H football players with the victory over Ivory Coast successfully started the American tournament in terms of preparations for the performance in World Championship in Brazil.
B&H players most of the time played better than the opponents and created more scoring opportunities, especially by the end of the first  half.

Misimović had the first chance in the 11 minute but he did not respond well and 6 minute later B&H team managed to lead. Džeko scored a goal 6 minutes later.

Džeko had a new opportunity to score in the 42 minute when he shoots into an empty goal.

The second half started good for B&H team, which in the 53 minute scored the second goal.

The best player of the Ivory Coast, Yaya Toure did not play in this match due to injuries and the bigest star of the team Dider Drogba entered the match in 63 minute.  He had immediately two opportunites to score but the goalkeeper Asmir Begović reacted well. Anyway, Drogba in 90 minute succeed to score and to conclude the result of the match 2:1.

B&H players for this match were: Begović, Šunjić, Spahić (from 81. Hadžić), Vranješ (from 64. Mujdža), Kolašinac (from 19. Salihović), Bešić, Pjanić, Hajrović (from 74. Vršajević), Misimović (from 61. Medunjanin), Višća, Džeko (from 61. Ibišević).

The next match of B&H representation is on 4 June against Mexico in Chicago.
