jasmina_tinjicJasmina Tinjić, who plays for a prize fund of 50.000 dollars, opened the tournament in Quanzhou, in China with the results 2:1, per sets (6:7, 6:3, 6:4).

The best B&H female tennis player won against the local tennis player Ran Tian, who is 818 in the WTA list. According to Jasmina, the process of adaption with the time difference was difficult.

“Now that I am adapting with the zone changes, I believe that I will be more confident in the upcoming matches. Weather conditions for the game were not ideal. It was very windy, but I managed to win the game despite losing in the first set. I believe that I will play much better in  the second round, but the goal remains the same, at least semi-finals”, said Tinjić, who will play the next match on Wednesday morning.
