Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina (DCPT of BiH), Mirsad Vilic said in an interview that there is no information during inter-agency data exchanges, which could indicate that there may be destabilization or disruption of the security situation in BiH.

This answer comes after disturbing messages on social networks that riots are being prepared in Visegrad on Sunday during the gathering of members of the Ravna Gora Chetnik movement.

”The DCPT of BiH, within its competencies, exchanges information of a security-interesting nature on a daily basis with police and other law enforcement agencies,” Vilic said.

On the occasion of the announced gathering of members of the Ravna Gora Chetnik movement in the Visegrad area and announcements on social networks where possible incidents are mentioned, we inform the public that according to the currently available inter-agency data exchange, the BiH Police Coordination Directorate did not receive information that could destabilize/disrupt the security situation BiH.

”Police officers are obliged to work on preserving the peace and security of all citizens, and through their regular activities, they will prevent any kind of violence that can lead to disturbances of public order and peace,” Vilic explained.

It should be reminded that none of the security services contacted by the interviewers yesterday had any information that there were any plans for any incidents or any kind of planned threat to peace in BiH.

Also, five associations from Buzim yesterday officially denied all allegations, saying that it was just propaganda and that no one from Buzim plans to go to Visegrad to make incidents.

”We in Buzim do not have information that anyone could go to Visegrad and cause incidents that we do not need in these times, nor will they be supported by the citizens of Buzim municipality and former fighters and elders 105/505 Vbbr and we oppose any provocation in Visegrad, Buzim, or any part of BiH,” they said.
