Doboj highway 150 km from Sarajevo closed to traffic due to landslidesThe landslide in the area of Ugorsko in Vogošća during last night caused ground movements which directly and indirectly threatened 5-6 housing objects and some other facilities.

The Secretary of Local Community Hotonj, that belongs to the Ugorsko village, Memsudin Kožljak announced for Fena that locals reported cracking of asphalt and by that is threatened the only road communication, considering that the street Muje Šejte had earlier a landslide and by that was interrupted the only alternative road communication.

Kožljak added that he has required urgent interventions from the municipal departments to fix the crack in the asphalt and to prevent the further damage of the only road communication which connects this village of few hundreds of residents.

With the help of locals and construction operations last week were carried out prevention action in the field such as digging and laying pipes for the collection and disposal of groundwater that caused the occurrence of landslides, which are however still active despite the termination of rainfalls.
