Volume of transported Goods in BiH recorded Decrease

In the road transport of goods in the fourth quarter of 2018, the number of kilometers covered by vehicles is higher by 2,7 %, compared to the fourth quarter of the previous year, the volume of transported goods are lower by 13,5%. Achieved tonne -kilometers are increased by 1,1%.

In the road transport of passengers, the vehicle kilometers that are covered are higher by 4,6 %, and the number of transported passengers are higher by 0,3% compared to the fourth quarter of the previous year.

Achieved passenger kilometers are increased by 7,4 % compared to the same quarter of the previous year In the fourth quarter of 2018 the number of total kilometers covered in urban-suburban transport are increased by 5,0% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, while the number of passengers transported was slightly lower by 3,7%.

In the fourth quarter of 2018, the volume of transported goods in the railway transport is increased by 6,8%, and the number of achieved tonne – kilometers is higher by 19,9% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

According to BiH’s Agency for Statistics, in the fourth quarter of 2018 the number of transported passengers in the railway transport are increased by 3,0%, and the number of achieved passenger kilometers are increased by 15,5% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. In the fourth quarter of 2018 the number of aircraft movements indicates an increase of 0,9 % compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The number of transported passengers is higher by 4,2 % compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
