Vujanovic: All Members of the Presidency of BiH are committed to EU

Filip Vujanovic montenegroPresident of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic after visiting religious and cultural institutions in Sarajevo said that they show the history of coexistence among peoples of the region in the best way possible.

“They show the respect for each other through religion and the way of life that they had. I would like to express a very positive impression and a joy that I recognized determination for European integration of BiH with every member of the Presidency of BiH “, stated Vujanovic.

He added that there is a full commitment of all three members of the Presidency of BiH to the benefit of all citizens BiH for affirmation of BiH through the preservation of sovereignty, equality of the constituent peoples and entities.

“This obliges the EU to be present here and in the region more decisively and strongly through political presence in terms of acceleration and integration and economic presence, which means that it will help the infrastructure, and mostly transport and energy”, said Vujanovic.

He emphasized that he is looking forward to meet prime ministers in Trieste, adding that he expects a much stronger support from the EU to this area that must be part of the EU.

“I am convinced that all the current issues will be resolved in the European spirit. Relations between BiH and Montenegro can be built in a good neighborly atmosphere,” stated Vujanovic.

Accompanied by a member of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegovic and Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka, Vujanovic walked through the streets of Sarajevo and visited the old Orthodox church – Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Gazi Husrev-Bey’s Mosque and the Jewish Museum of BiH.
