The FBiH President Živko Budimir spoke in Washington with Congressman George Philip Gingrey, a member of the Helsinki Committee in the US Congress about the current political situation in BiH, particularly in the FBiH.

Gingrey was especially concerned about the general situation in BiH, inter-entity relations, situation of refugees and displaced peoples, and the functioning of BiH institutions.

‘’He expressed a particular interest in the situation in the FBiH, and of the unconstitutional actions of a part of the Executive and Legislature. He gave his strong support in the fight against corruption’’, announced from the Office of Public Relations of the FBiH President.

During the meeting President Budimir and Congressman Gingrey exchanged opinions on the change of the FBiH Constitutions with a specific emphasis on the administrative and territorial reorganization.

The Congressman requested a map of BiH so that he could have a clearer vision of the possible restructuring and its consequences, especially for the large number of Croatian communities in central Bosnia.
