[wzslider autoplay=”true”]It is believed that around 50.000 years ago, by geological processes, the famous waterfall in Jajce was created and is considered as the only waterfall in the world that is located in the center of one city.

Magical beauty of pouring water into the waterfalls is the most evident at night when the waterfall creates a unique calming sound in the silence and under the starry sky.

Waterfall in Jajce is more than 20 meters high and was found on many postcards throughout the world. In addition to the picturesque rapids of the river Pliva falling over limestone rocks, at the same place Pliva flows into Vrbas. Decorated with the greenery, waterfall is attractive to jumpers of which only brave ones decide to jump from one cold river to another.

Jajce is everyday visited by a large number of tourists, especially because of the waterfall that haven’t changed through centuries while emperors passed through the city. This persistent guardian of the city creates a special sight at the night through lights illuminating the falls.

Crystal clear water falling through dozens of meters are creating a sight that included Pliva waterfall among the 12 most beautiful waterfalls of the world.
