Statehood day2Wednesday, the 25th of November, is a non-working day on the territory of FB&H.

“The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy stated that by the Law on declaration of the 25th of November as the Statehood Day of B&H was determined that on that date, employers, institutions, administrative bodies and other legal subjects will not be working”, as announced from the Ministry.

This date, the 25th of November, is one of the most important dates in the history of our country. On that day, the first meeting of the State Anti-fascist Council for the National Liberation of B&H (ZAVNOB&H) was held in Mrkonjic Grad back in 1943. The decision on the renewal of the statehood of B&H was made on this meeting, its historical borders were confirmed, and B&H became one of the six equal Republics of the former Yugoslavia.
