Billionaire Bill Gates presented his predictions for the year 2024, emphasizing the development of artificial intelligence, especially in medicine and education.

“Innovation is the reason our lives have improved so much over the past century. From electricity and cars to medicine and airplanes – innovations have made the world better,” Gates wrote on his internet blog.

He points out that there is already evidence that using technology can help employees progress.

One of the fields experiencing the most changes under the influence of artificial intelligence is medicine.

Although a lot of work is being done on the development of artificial intelligence that could assist doctors or detect disease symptoms even better than them, Gates points out that a major technological boom in medicine can only be expected at the end of this decade.

He states that artificial intelligence is helping to solve problems such as the resistance of some viruses to antibiotics and in the treatment of high-risk pregnancies and HIV risk assessment.

Gates expects artificial intelligence could transform education. He is referring to its use in classrooms.

He calls the tools used by artificial intelligence, which are already available to everyone today, incredible.

First of all, Gates refers to the tools that can help in learning and explaining material to children.

According to Gates, this does not mean that teachers will become redundant, but that with the help of artificial intelligence, they will be able to approach students in a personalized way and enable them to use motivation for certain subjects, Biznis Info writes.
