The main hearing in the case of the murder of Sarajevo police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic continued yesterdaywith the testimony of three witnesses of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Prosecutor’s Office.

The first witness of the CS Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office was B. D., a restaurateur who said that he finished his shift before dawn and returned home – to Istocno Sarajevo – via Skenderija and Vraca. The murder of the police officers happened around 4 a.m.on October 26th, 2018. Namely, as he testified yesterday, at that moment, together with his colleague, he stopped at a petrol station that leads to the restaurant “Toplik” and Vuk Karadzica Street.

Witness B.D. called a taxi for his colleague and at the moment when his colleague was arriving by taxi, a dark-colored “Seat” drove by – according to witnesses.

The second witness of the CS Prosecution yesterday was the police officer of the Novo Sarajevo Police Department, Armin Skoko. Namely, on October 25th, 2018 – that is, the day before the murder of the policemen – he was on night patrol when he received a notice from the shift chief and an order to act on, which referred to the fact that in the village of Grbavica, at the crossroads on Kemal Kapetanovic and Behdzet Mutevelicstreets, unknown persons were found “suspiciously” moving around the car.

He immediately headed to Grbavica together with his fellow policeman. When they were arriving towards Hamdije Cemerlica Street, they noticed a police vehicle chasing a dark-colored “Seat” car.

The third witness who testified in court yesterday is CS Ministry of Internal Affairs police officer Adnan Saljic, who that night, on October 25th, 2018, together with his colleague, was the first to arrive at Grbavica and the intersection of Kemal Kapetanovicand Behdzet Mutevelic streets because he got information from the shift manager that there were unknown persons moving around cars in the parking lot.

At the moment when he and his colleague arrived at the specified location, the person in the car identified as “Seat” headed at high speed towards Hamdije Cemerlica Street and further towards Zvornicka Street.

The next main hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16th, starting at 9:30 a.m., when the testimony of seven witnesses of the CS Prosecutor’s Office is announced, Klix.ba reports.
