A regular session of the General Assembly of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held yesterday at the Hotel Terme Ilidža where, among other things, the financial reports for 2015 were presented and reports for this year forecasted.
Apart from the delegates, the session was attended by the representative of UEFA Thierry Favre, members of the Committee for Counseling and Mediation Ivan Osim and Sead Kajtaz, coach of the BiH national football team Mehmed Baždarević, representatives of entity football federations, Olympic Committee of BiH, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the FBiH and representatives of pertinent bodies of the Football Federation of BiH.
Prior to the beginning of the working part of the session, President of the Football Federation of BiH Elvedin Begić invited the attendees to pay tribute to the late delegate of the Assembly Radislav Kundačina and other football workers who passed away in the period between the two sessions of the Assembly. The last session was held on April 16, 2015.
Financial report for 2015 was presented at the session. The umbrella house of BiH football generated the income amounting to 26.530.000 BAM last year. At the end of the year, the total profit amounted to 572.550 BAM, which is a sign of positive operating.
The largest income of the Federation is still the one generated in 2014, when the generated income amounted to 31.599.000 BAM. This is understandable given that the BiH national team then played at the World Championships in Brazil.
Income in 2015 is satisfying for officials of the Federation, since the amount is by 8 percent larger than planned. The income was mostly allocated for the construction of new premises of the Federation and for assistance to the entity and cantonal federations, as well as for clubs whose youth squads are in the second round of the youth league.
Planned income for 2016 is 17.753.000 BAM, while the planned expenditures are in the amount of 17.377.000 BAM.
