What is the Amount of March Deflation on Annual Level?

supermarketAccording to the Agency for Statistics of BiH, changes in the levels of prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina were not recorded in March 2016, on monthly level.

On the annual level, an average fall in prices by 1.8 percent was recorded.

Prices in March 2016 in comparison with the same month the previous year are lower in the sections of food and soft drinks by 1.9 percent, clothes and footwear by 8.8 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other energy sources by 0.8 percent, furniture, appliances and maintenance by 1.4 percent, transportation by 8.2 percent, communications by 1.2 percent, recreation and culture by 0.3 percent, and other goods and services by 0.1 percent.

Average growth in prices was recorded with alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 9.5 percent, health by 0.8 percent, education by 1.5 percent, and restaurants and hotels by 0.7 percent.
