What is the Amount of total External and Internal Debt of the FBiH in 2017?

The total external and internal debt in the FBiH, including the debt of cantons, cities, municipalities, public companies and other loan users, amounted to a total of 5.871 million BAM or 30.05 % of GDP at the end of last year.

From the Government of the FBiH, which was informed about the external and internal debt of the FBiH on December 31, 2017, was noted that the external debt amounts to 4,739,000,000 BAM or 80.72 %, while the internal debt amounts to 1,132. 000,000 BAM or 19,28 %.

A total of 82 million BAM or 1.73 % of total debt refers to the debt that the FBiH contracted directly with external creditors.

The debt to the IMF amounts to 368 million BAM.

Foreign debt in the FBiH is mostly contracted with bilateral creditors and multilateral financial institutions / the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, IMF and others.

The debt to multilateral financial institutions amounted to a total of 3.584 billion BAM or 75.64 % of the total external debt in the FBiH, while the indebtedness with bilateral creditors amounted to 1.154.000.000 BAM or 24.36 %.

Without the debt of end-users, who are obliged to pay on the basis of loan, the balance of debt of the Government of the FBiH on December 31, 2017, amounted to 3,288,000,000 BAM.

The external debt of the Government of the FBiH amounted to a total of 2.393 million BAM and it participates in the total debt with 72.79 %.
