Representatives of Orbis Hotel Group, the strategic partner of the leading global group AccorHotels and Tareq Hospitality Ltd., which is the new owner of Hotel Sarajevo, signed a franchise agreement in Paris with which Hotel Sarajevo became part of the famous international brand ibis Styles.

“Orbis, as the largest hotel group in Eastern Europe, has ambitious development strategy in the region of Balkans, which is confirmed by the introduction of the internationally established brand ibis Styles on the market of BiH. Ibis Styles Sarajevo will bring innovations and a completely new and different experience of hotel service,” as noted by Gilles Clavie, the President of the Board of Orbis Hotel Group.

Ibis Styles, which is one of the economic brands of Accor Hotels, belongs to a group of city hotels that are recognizable by their unique solutions for interior design and a really nice, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The trademark of these comfortable hotels are creativity with a note of humour, and they are located at around 400 places all around the world.

“In the second half of the year, we are expecting to finalize a comprehensive process of reconstruction and adaptation of the existing 69 rooms in accordance with the international standards and to finalize the process of rebranding in ibis Styles Sarajevo. We are planning a large expansion of the hotel and an increase of the capacity with additional 117 rooms. The implementation of this project under the name of one of the most recognizable Accor brands will lead to improvement of quality standards in our hotel industry and it will also give a stimulus to the domestic economy with a capital investment of around 30 million BAM and 25 new workplaces,” said Enes Kazazic, the project manager of the new ibis Styles Sarajevo.
