What is the average Monthly Net Salary in BiH?

The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for October this year was 1,415 BAM, which is a nominal increase of 2.4 percent and is 2.2 percent higher in real terms compared to September this year.

The average net salary paid for October compared to the same month last year is nominally higher by 10.2 percent and 9.2 percent higher in real terms, announced the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The highest average net salaries in October this year were in the information and communication sector in the amount of 1,999 BAM, followed by the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning in the amount of 1,939 BAM, and in the financial and insurance sector in the amount of 1,913 BAM.

The lowest average net salaries were in the accommodation and food service activities in the amount of 924 BAM, and in construction in the amount of 1,065 BAM.

The average monthly gross salary per employee for October this year was 2,193 BAM, which is a nominal increase of 2.5 percent, and in real terms it is higher by 2.3 percent compared to September of this year.

The average gross salary for October compared to the same month last year was nominally higher by 10.7 percent, and in real terms it was higher by 9.7 percent.
