The average retail prices of oil derivatives in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued to grow, and on March 20, an increase in the prices of both gasoline and diesel was recorded compared to the previous day.

The average price of premium unleaded gasoline 95 (BMB 95) is higher by 0.03 KM per liter, while the price of diesel (BAS EN 590) has increased by 0.07 KM per liter compared to March 19, the Federal Ministry of Trade announced.

According to the Ministry, the average retail price of diesel in January was 2.29 KM per liter, while the price of BMB 95 gasoline was 2.32 KM per liter.

In the period from the end of February to March 20, a continuous increase in prices was recorded, whereby the average price of diesel on March 20 reached 3.16 KM per liter, while the price of gasoline was 2.54 KM per liter.

Based on the submitted notifications on price changes and margins (OPC and OPM forms), in the period from February 28 to March 19, a total of 7,456 notifications of price changes were recorded, of which 5,255 related to diesel, and 2,201 to gasoline BMB 95.

The Ministry reminds that in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Decision on prescribing direct price control measures is still in force, limiting the maximum wholesale margin to 0.06 KM per liter, and the retail margin to 0.25 KM per liter of oil derivatives.

Control of the application of this decision is continuously carried out by federal and county market inspectors, with a special focus on the formation of wholesale and retail prices.

In order to inform citizens about price trends, the Federal Ministry of Trade also reminds of the availability of the mobile application “FMT FBiH oil info”, through which users can monitor fuel prices at gas stations and report any irregularities, Fena writes.
