Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vojin Mitrović and Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH Matthew Field signed an Agreement between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Council of Ministers on international road transport.

Mitrović thanked the Government and the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in BiH for successfully completing the negotiations on this agreement, in order to regulate and develop international road transport of passengers and cargo, to the mutual satisfaction.

Ambassador Field welcomed the agreement, which will boost trade between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom.

“The team will ensure unrestricted direct and indirect access to international commercial trade of goods in both directions for activities established in both countries. This is good news for commercial cooperation between the United Kingdom and BiH,” said Field.

The signing of the agreement replaces the Agreement on International Road Freight Transport between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, signed on February 3, 1969 in London, the BiH Ministry of Communications and Transport stated in a press release today.
