What is the Number of registered Unemployed Persons in Bosnia?

In August 2020, the number of registered unemployed in Bosnia and Herzegovina was  427.593 and if we take 2018 as a base year and compare August 2020 with the same month of 2019, we will notice that the number of unemployed increased by 4,6 index points, or in absolute terms the number of people registered as unemployed increased by 20.745.

If we compare registered unemployed by qualification structure, we will notice that the largest number of unemployed are highly skilled and skilled by 135.997 followed by those with a high school diploma by 124.438 and unskilled by 111.868, BH Agency for Statistics stated in the press release on Wednesday.

The lowest number of unemployed are those with higher education by 7.364, followed by those semi-skilled by 7.129.

The share of the female population in registered unemployed amounted to 57,2% or in absolute terms 244.549 females.

In the female population, the largest number of unemployed are those with secondary education by 78.682, then those unskilled by 65.682 and those with highly skilled and skilled qualification by 62.688 females.
