The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH issued a statement in which was repeated the previously stated position regarding the allegations that BiH joined statements on the international level that prejudice the responsibility for the case of poisoning with forbidden substances, the case Skripal.

To recall, BiH expressed concern about the establishment of dangerous chemical substances abuse, whose utilization is forbidden by international conventions. BiH expressed the hope that this case will be fully resolved after the investigation. BiH is carefully monitoring the development of the situation in regard with the expulsion of Russian diplomats from certain number of countries, but BiH is not planning to undertake these or some similar measures,” as noted in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

From this ministry was noted that none of BH diplomatic missions in the world received the consent for joining statements related to the case that caused such great international attention, because there is no official position of Presidency of BiH on this case.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH will submit the entire information with all available data to the Presidency of BiH by the end of the working day.

To recall, the British Embassy in BiH thanked our country for “supporting” the statement of the EU in the OSCE in the case Skripal, and due to which 14 EU member states decided to expell Russian diplomats, together with six other countries of the world.
