What is the Percentage of Vaccinated Population in Canton Sarajevo?

According to the vaccination bulletin of the Sarajevo Canton Public Health Institute, a total of 184,776 residents of Sarajevo Canton have so far been vaccinated with two doses of coronavirus vaccine. Of these, 183,526 people are over the age of 18, representing 55.24 percent of the adult population.

The third, booster dose was received by 19,027 citizens of Sarajevo Canton.

These data were collected through the Information System of the CS Health Insurance Institute, on the basis of which a weekly section of the vaccination status was made.

As stated, a total of 310,830 doses of vaccines have been administered in the institutions of the Sarajevo Canton so far.

According to the data of the mentioned institute, 139 patients were hospitalized for COVID-19 disease yesterday. Of this number, 40 were fully vaccinated, representing 28.78 percent of those hospitalized, while 71.22 percent of those in hospital were unvaccinated.

The Ministry of Health of CS reminds that all adult citizens of Sarajevo Canton can receive the third dose of the vaccine at all points in the health centers of CS.
