Dita First Salary bnn.baThe factory of detergents Dita Tuzla launched the production and made a big step forward, but long-term survival of this enterprise depends on the sale to a strategic partner.

According to the media, a call for the sale of this company will be published next week, in an attempt to find an interested strategic partner. Dita has been in bankruptcy for years, and the turning point took place in June last year when workers, with great help by the company Bingo, launched again the production of a series of detergents.

Bankruptcy Trustee of Dita Hajrudin Kunalić confirmed that the call for the sale of this enterprise will be published on May 4 or 5.

“Starting price of Dita will amount to about 18 million BAM. We will look for a strategic partner who will continue the production and keep dealing with this activity. By selling the factory, Dita will automatically come out of bankruptcy. Current sale of our products enables us to cover the operating costs,” Kunalić said. Speaking of strategic partners, Kunalić said that there is certain interest shown by companies from Germany, as well as from the Arab countries.

“We have had some informative talks. They are interested in company information, production capacities, condition of the machines and similar things. On the same basis, we have also talked to several interested domestic buyers from this branch. They have also expressed interest in buying Dita,” Kunalić said. One of the possible buyers of the factory from Tuzla is certainly Bingo, the company which currently sells Dita’s products in its stores. Also mentioned is the interest shown by the company Violeta from Grude, which also operates in the sector of liquid detergents production.
