What was agreed at the session held yesterday?

12966213_1147278018656486_14377687_nAt the session held yesterday, the Presidency of BiH reached a Decision on accepting the Paris Agreement with the Framework Convention of the United Nations on Climate Change, the Presidency stated.

Furthermore, the Presidency accepted the invitation by the Secretary General of the UN for participation at the ceremony of signing of the Paris Agreement which is to be held in New York on April 22 this year. Delegation of BiH at the signing ceremony will be led by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić, who will sign this agreement by the powers of the Presidency of BiH.

The Presidency of BiH also approved the Memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of youth between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the State of Qatar, and the Agreement on operational and strategic cooperation between BiH and EUROPOL.

The Presidency also supported the Initiative for organization and execution of the international drill “Reaction to disasters in BiH in the period 2016-2017”.

Moreover, the Presidency of BiH ratified the Framework agreement on loan between the Council of Europe Developmental Bank and BiH LD 1836 (2014) – the Loan for social housing programme in BiH, in the Republika Srpska, implemented by the Investment-development bank of Republika Srpska, as well as the protocol on cooperation in searching for missing persons between the Council of Ministers of BiH and Government of the Republic of Serbia.
