The construction of the main road Neum – Stolac should be completed at the beginning of 2022, said the Public Enterprise Roads of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They add that the value of the project is 72 million KM, eKapija writes.

When it comes to the construction of the main road Neum – Stolac, works have been completed on the section Stari Neum – Kisevo – Brocanac, 12 kilometers long, as well as on the subsection Prapratnica – Hutovo in the length of 2.5 kilometers, including the tunnel Zaba 975 meters.

Works are underway on the subsection Stolovi – Drenovac, with a total length of 8.95 km. Work began in October 2019 and is currently in the construction phase of the upper road machine. 6.2 km out of a total of 8.95 km have been asphalted.

The remaining works were temporarily suspended due to unfavorable weather conditions. The expected completion of all works on this subsection is April this year. They add that works are underway on the sub-section Brocanac – Prapratnica in the length of three kilometers, including works on the intersections Babin Do and Oskrusnica.

The works started in May 2020, and the expected completion of all works on this subsection is August 1, 2021. Works are underway on the subsection Hutovo – Cerovica (LOT 5), with a total length of five kilometers and the subsection Cerovica – Stolovi (LOT 6), with a total length of 4.95 km.

The works started in October 2020 and earthworks are currently being carried out. The expected deadline for the completion of complete works on these sub-sections is January 2022, they said in the PE Roads FBiH.

Activities are also underway regarding the construction of a bypass around Stolac, where together with the municipality we are looking for a solution for the route of the future bypass.

As a reminder, in April 2018, the construction of the main road Neum – Stolac began.
