Hiljade Sarajlija Novu godinu dočekalo uz vatromet i muzikuFor the fifteenth consecutive time, the City of Sarajevo is organizing public New Year 2016 celebration at the Square of the Children of Sarajevo (Trg djece Sarajeva), in front of the BBI Center.

Exclusively performers of the B&H music scene will perform during New Year’s Eve, including Amel Ćurić, Zoster, Vela havle and Radarska kontrola, and the celebration will be complemented with spectacular fireworks.

As in previous years, partners of the city in organizing the celebration are the Sarajevo Canton and four city municipalities: Stari Grad, Centar, Novo Sarajevo and Novi Grad. They will also get support by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, the Tourist Board of the Sarajevo Canton, and media sponsors.

As a leader of this project, the City of Sarajevo will put maximum efforts to provide great fun and entertainment for all those who decide to welcome the New Year 2016 in the B&H capital.

The City of Sarajevo, together with its partners, invites the citizens of Sarajevo, citizens of other cities and municipalities in B&H, as well as guests from the region to come to the Square of the Children of Sarajevo and together welcome the New Year 2016.

Through rich entertaining contents, the fifth Coca-Cola Sarajevo Holiday Market will also provide a true holiday ambience. Honorary sponsor of the Holiday Market is the City of Sarajevo.

Instead of a Christmas tree that the City of Zagreb intended to buy as a gift for the City of Sarajevo, Zagreb donated 4,000 EUR to children suffering from malignant diseases and children without parental care, in order to cheer up the forthcoming holidays for at least a bit.
