danijel milicevicDanijel Milicevic was born in Switzerland, and his parents are from Ugljevik and he is yet another hope of our football.

Milicevic was born in 1986, has a contract with Belgian KAA Gent until the summer of 2017. He plays at the position of offensive midfielder, and often plays as a winger. Before Gent, he played for FCLugano, Yverdon-Sport, AS Eupen, RSC Charleroi.

He also played for Swiss U-19, U-20 and U-21 selections in generation with Rakitic, Kuzmanovic, Gelson Fernandez and Ziegler. In this season he scored 9 goals and recorded 7 assists in the league.

Last year Milicevic said that he would answer to the call of the coach Bazdarevic to play for a national team of BiH.

“If the call comes, I will answer it, I said that already. I am doing well in the club, but it is important that the whole team plays at the same level. We have a good team, we play offensive football and we want to play in European competitions“, said Milicevic.

“When it comes to Milicevic, I know him very well. We watched him three times in last two months. Director if his club, Michel, is my good friend. You probably know that Milicevic played for young selections of Switzerland and it can be a small problem, but it is solvable as well“, said Bazdarevic.
