senadDelegates of the Coalition Homeland in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska requested yesterday at the session of the Collegium of the entity Parliament respect for the decision by the Constitutional Court of BiH on temporary prohibitive measure for the organization of referendum in the RS about January 9, the Day of Republika Srpska, confirmed the Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Parliament of RS Senad Bratić.

Delegates requested a delay until the final decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH about the Day of RS, but their requests were not accepted.

Bratić said that they, as legalists, demand respect for the decisions reached by the highest judiciary institution in BiH, for constitutions of the entity and the state, and for the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Delegates also requested a special session of the National Assembly of RS at which the assembly decision on referendum in the RS, scheduled for September 25, would be withdrawn until the Constitutional Court of BiH declares itself finally about this issue, following all submitted requests.

This request of theirs was also not accepted at the session of the Collegium of the National Assembly of RS.

Bratić confirmed that, if the referendum in the RS is held on September 25, they will boycott it because, as he stated, Bosniaks in that BiH entity do not want to legitimize the unconstitutional activity directed against the Constitutional Court of BiH.

Bratić emphasized that the Constitutional Court of BiH already declared itself about the announced referendum.

Collegium of the National Assembly of RS requested from the Government of RS yesterday to forward to the assembly procedure the Draft Law on amendments to the Law on Holidays of the RS, confirmed the President of National Assembly of RS Nedeljko Čubrilović.
