Will the German Company relocate its Production to BiH?

grammer agThe new information appeared these days regarding the company Grammer from the German town of Amberg.

It is a Bavarian company, which is a large supplier of parts that produces automotive headrests and arms and seats.

Recently, a 20 % stake in Grammer was taken by the family Hastor led by Nijaz Hastor, who was presented in German media as “the richest Bosnian man”.

In late January, a spokesman of Hastor family announced the intention of scheduling Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting in Grammer in order to remove director Hartmut Muller and five members of the Board of Directors, writes Wirtschafts Woche.

Representatives of Grammer expressed the concern that Hastor could move production to where the labor work is cheaper – probably in BiH, when BH businessmen entered their company.

In order to prevent such a scenario, Grammer triumphantly announced a “strategic partnership” with China’s Ningbo Jifeng Auto Parts, as announced by Industrie Magazine.

The strategic partnership with the Chinese was welcomed by automobile corporations that Grammer supplied with parts. This could be interpreted as their revenge to BH businessman after the last argument of Europe’s biggest automobile manufacturer with Hastor’s Prevent.
