Sarajevo City Council made a decision on winners of the “Plaque of the City of Sarajevo” in the field of sports, culture, education, as well as the award “Graham Bamford”.
In the field of sports, the recognition will be awarded to Women’s Football Club SFK 2000.
The Plaque of the City of Sarajevo in the field of culture will be awarded to KUD “Bulbul”, and in the field of education to Professor Ali Lafcioglu, who was nominated by educational institutions Bosna Sema.
The award “Graham Bamford” will be awarded to Muhamed Kunovac for his bravery, solidarity, humanity and altruism. Kunovac saved taxi driver Milorad Simeonovic on the 18th of July 2016, who was attacked with the knife by two girls, causing him serious injuries.
The award “Graham Bamford” is awarded to individuals, citizens of BiH and foreign citizens, for exceptional civil courage, solidarity, humanity and altruism, and the prize is awarded in the form of a diploma with a cash prize.
