According to the available data, the allocation of tourist vouchers by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) significantly contributed to the increase in the number of trips by domestic tourists, as well as to the increase in spending in the tourism and hospitality sector in the FBiH.

Federal Minister of Environment and Tourism Edita Djapo confirmed this for agency Fena, stating that the program for awarding tourist vouchers, through which citizens of the FBiHare co-financed for tourist travel within BiH, has proven to be very good, thus helping the entire tourism sector.

”In this regard, we believe that this program of tourist vouchers should be continued, even in larger financial amounts. However, the preparation of the budget of the FBiH for 2023 has not yet started, so we believe that the new FBiH Government and the new federal Minister of Environment and Tourism will decide on all of the above,” Djapo added.

On all three platforms eKupon”, “Citydeal flyfly travel” and “OdmoriuBiH” 10.000 vouchers were available to citizens, which were downloaded and used to a large extent in record time. Two million BAM have been allocated from the federal budget for this direct assistance to citizens, but also to the tourism sector.

Thanks to this, the representatives of the mentioned platforms were able to open for citizens all available tourist offers for vacation in the FBiH.

”All users of tourist vouchers really had a pleasant stay at beautiful tourist destinations. They spent unforgettable moments at the destination they chose. The most visited destinations were Sarajevo and its surroundings, Bihac, Jajce, Ljubuski, Mostar, Tuzla, Neum…,” noted Nedim Lipa on behalf of the platform.
