From 29th to 31st August, in the HUB387, the 3rd Startup Weekend Sarajevo was held.
The prize for the best idea was won by the team which created the MEET PRO application.
Their idea was about an application which facilitates agreeing business meetings and makes possible the measurability of the business credibility.
The winning team won the Avalon BH Enterprise hosting package and seven days of stay in the Silicon Valley in San Francisco at the special training in the Black Box VC.
The second prize was assigned to the team “Trace Fram” while the team “24/7 Fix It” had the best presentation.
The Startup Weekend Sarajevo is a unique event and a chance for young people who wish to launch their own business.
This year, the event hosted Benjamin Southworth from the Fi-Ware company, as one of the mentors.
The Startup Weekend is a place where young entrepreneurs come as well as potential entrepreneurs, creative people and developers. They all want to find out if their ideas are sustainable. From the statistical point of view, half of the participants have a technical, a nd have of them a business background.
During this weekend the Startup Weeked was also held in Portugal, Australia, Peru and many other countries.
