Within 3 Years Municipality of Visoko invested 11.5 Million BAM

Visoko Investments visoko.gov.baThe Municipality of Visoko makes significant efforts to make the area of Visoko appealing to investors, with the quality of living that the citizens deserve.

According to the Mayor of Visoko Amra Babić, the Municipality has been recording significant investments in infrastructure, roads, lighting, water supply and sewerage for years now, not only thanks to its own means, but also thanks to means from higher levels of authority and donor funds. When it comes to donations, Visoko is among the most successful municipalities in B&H.

Babić said that during the past three years they have created conditions for stabilization of overall situation in Visoko and that they have been creating preconditions for significant developmental projects which will bring Visoko back among municipalities attractive for investors, with the quality of living that the people of Visoko deserve.

“We have put the budget consumption in order. For this year, we are planning the implementation of projects of water supply for 12,000 residents of Visoko, ecological project of constructing communal waste disposal center, further construction of utility infrastructure, reconstruction and asphalting of roads, as well as regulation of river beds and parks,” Babić said.

From 2013 until 2015, Municipality of Visoko invested 11,559,671.74 BAM in the implementation of projects aimed at developing local community and creating better living environment. Of this amount, 7,997,799.49 BAM are donor funds and 3,561,872.25 BAM are means from the municipal budget.
